Rachael Steps into a New Role Managing ROI & NI Accounts at Hranipex

What brought you to Hranipex UK and how long have you worked here?

I spent 10 rewarding years at ASDA, from navigating diverse departments and leading teams, ending up finding my niche on the George department. It was very challenging, but I loved it and aspired to be the Manager of both George and Home & Leisure.

However, upon finally reaching my goal I decided it was time to seek new challenges. Joining Hranipex in 2019 fulfilled that need, and I've never looked back since.

Explain your Hranipex journey so far and the experience you have gained?

I started my Hranipex journey in customer service, initially finding it overwhelming in a new industry and career, however, engaging with our wonderful customers has taught me a lot about the industry.

6 months after becoming part of the team, the pandemic hit adding challenges, but we got through it together as the strong team we are.

In 2023 I was entrusted with covering Maternity for the National Key Accounts Manager, which pushed me out my comfort zone and I loved every minute. I now manage accounts for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Coming from a retail background, customer satisfaction remains my priority. I’m grateful for the opportunities and growth at Hranipex, I appreciate the continual push for progress. Thank you, Hranipex! 😊

Tell us a little about your new role

I will now be solely responsible for managing accounts for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, I will be the main point of contact for this area. As this is now my sole area, I will be putting in a lot of effort to better know my customer base and their needs. I look forward to working with you all 😊

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I’m looking forward to getting to know all the customers in ROI & NI that little bit better and will hopefully see a lot of you very soon! 😊

What goals or projects are you most looking forward to tackling in your new position?

I would love to grow our business further within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, growing our relationships further and providing our customers with the customer service we at Hranipex strive for.

What’s the best piece of advice you have heard in your career?

Always believe in yourself

What is your favourite part about being part of the HraniTeam and why?

The amazing teamwork! We are all so passionate about our work and different roles at Hranipex, from the sales team to customer service, finance department, marketing and the warehouse team. We all come together to achieve what we can for our company.

So far, what is your favourite memory at Hranipex?

My favourite memories at Hranipex are the times we are altogether. Whether that be at our Christmas parties, Days out or even our yearly stock taking! Not to forget our BIG move in 2021! It’s always a great atmosphere on these occasions and great opportunities to get to know each other that little bit better and just enjoy the moments and laugh together.

What is your proudest achievement in work and personal life?

I have always wanted to better myself and strive for excellence wherever I have been employed but the role I have taken on now will be my greatest achievement to date. My Grandad I know would be so proud of me, (he was from Ireland) he would have loved telling me about all the areas of Ireland and the History. It gives me such a sense of pride and warmth; I just wish he was here to see his reaction.

In my personal life I have 2 daughters who are my most ultimate achievement! My eldest is currently at University in Manchester studying for her BA Honours Degree in Professional and Commercial Dance. I couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.

My youngest is currently studying to work with children, of which she is fantastic with, so caring and very patient! However, a few months back she had a change of heart and would now like to work towards joining the police force.

I won in life with these 2 humans alone, they make my heart burst!

Route 66! I LOVE America!
